In the midst of the storm,
In the midst of the battle,
I realized the pain and the antagonizing struggle.
Sacrifices made with heartbroken decisions.
None of this was planned or foreseen in a vision.
It's easy to hope when you've pondered up a plan.
Believing in things you already understand.
Try hoping for something that's made out of nothing.
Faith was the foundation and for a while the only substance.
Doubt flooded my mind causing all sorts of confusion.
I questioned my ability and wondered, why am I losing?
For a while, I held on loosely to the tread.
Struggling every morning, forcing myself out of bed.
At this point, I was wounded in my spirit.
If you listen really closely only then did you hear it.
I rarely prayed because when I did, I saw no answer.
After a while I felt my hope didn't matter.
"God's forsaken me for the sins that I've committed"
Some sins so deep I try to block the thought that I did it.
But after all the fighting and the rounds have been shot.
God has blessed me and set me up for the top.
He healed all my wounds and gave me muscles of destruction.
A character built on faith and desperation.
Now I'm fighting battles with my armor that I've been given.
Thank you Lord for not leaving me forsaken.

So you gotta live your live never looking back.
Make peace with your past.
Move forward just as fast
As the last moment you remember making mistakes that caused you pain
Quicker than your blood flowing through your veins.
Tomorrow is not promised, but who knows if you'd live through today.
God gave me breath, so I know it holds weight.
Never let your life be just waking up every day.
Relapse -to slip or fall back into a former or worse state.

Love in it’s greatest form is unconditional.
So many people have never known love in it’s greatest form because they have never been loved that kind of way. Being a Christian and brought up in that type of household, I have always had a sense of what love looks like.

God has dispersed.

Where our souls have no rest,
And our minds make their beds
In prisons cells with no escape.
Our pulses race and our bodies ache.
Feeling like life's never served a break-
To the well deserved,
And not just royal birds.
Who live their lives like its a slave to their masters.
No regards for their actions or the things that come after.
